Installing a Poul Cadovius Wall Unit
When a client approached us with a request to install their incredible 1960s Poul Cadovius wall unit, we began planning our execution. Considering the lack of studs in the wall, we sourced the proper fasteners. A large portion of the unit will be utilized for record storage, and we assembled accordingly for any cords and cables needed for the record player. Finally, the unit was installed in the perfect center of the wall.
Cadovius' iconic floating shelving units were initially named the Royal System, designed and self-produced in Denmark beginning in 1948.
