Nicknamed the “father of woodcarving in Oregon,” Leroy Setziol sculpted geometric art from trees in the late-20th century. His portfolio includes small projects and large-scale commissions recognized across the American Northwest. The Portland Art Museum is exhibiting Setziol's work — including free-standing sculpture, totems, and wall reliefs.
