This is a vintage typewriter desk crafted by Uhl Art Steel of Toledo Metal Furniture Co. Arts & Crafts movement. It has an excellent vintage patina.
This is a portable roll-around with legs that lock. The cool looking finish of copper on metal is indicative of this early period being from late 1800′s to early 1910 – 20′s. This vintage typewriter desk has a roll top that is lockable. Once unlocked then you pickup up and push the copper color ribbed top backwards where it will eventually end up in the metal rolls. Then a small lever button on either side can be pushed and it releases a latch that allows both side to be lowered to horizontal position.
