This set came from a US naval ship in the 1950′s. It was designed with a “lip” around the edges so items on the table could not slide off in heavy waves. This makes it nice for cleaning too. You could literally hose this baby off if you wanted to. We spent 4 long days stripping layers of paint off of it’s surface, and then polishing and finishing the steel so that it is clean and shiny. The whole set collapses for easy storage or transport. This does not compromise the sets stability. It is incredibly solid when set up.
