Dunbar hired Wormley to upgrade their line. This was a great choice by Dunbar’s president for Wormley’s work met with immediate success. In 1944 the company decided to focus strictly on Modern lines, and Edward Wormley rose to the task, incorporating European and Scandinavian innovations.
This particular table is elegant, understated, and extremely well made. Wormley took classic historical design elements and translated them into modern design. It is in very good condition with slight chipping around two of the legs.
